Founded by Kenna Xu,  former director of the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and a new-generation art collector, KCCA emerged as a highly anticipated addition to Shenzhen's art landscape. It has defined its role as an academic and experimental art institution to bridge local and global art communities, and to bring new perspectives and experimental approaches to the art world.

This approximately 7500-square-foot venue features expansive ceilings that reach up to five meters. It consists of one main exhibition hall, two side exhibition halls, a dedicated new media hall, a VIP room and an office space. The space is thoughtfully curated to provide an optimal environment for hosting diverse art exhibitions and events across various mediums.
