SH02—31.2084° N, 121.4564° E

AREA: 500M2/5382FT2
HEIGHT: 3-3.8M/9.8-12.5FT

Situated in Shanghai's most iconic French Concession area, DG is housed in a historical British-style building with a remarkable 117 year legacy. Formerly owned by esteemed grain merchant and official, Ruan Wenzhong, during the late Qing Dynasty, this venue has transformed into an art space that has hosted a diverse range of curatorial projects, including art exhibitions, fashion events, dinner parties and has made its appearances in multiple magazines, films and TV shows.

With a profound history and a unique layout, the venue stands out from conventional gallery spaces. It accommodates two living rooms, a dining room, a meeting room, a balcony-equipped cigar lounge, a master bedroom suite, two bathrooms and a fully staffed kitchen on the ground floor for catering events and VIP guests. The basement holds a wine cellar and storage rooms. The rear of the building reveals a generous 1076-square-feet garden with a contemporary fountain and an exhibition area meticulously tailored for outdoor installations.
